Advertising policy
What we accept on the site and in our email, and what we turn down. These rules go by what an ad claims and what the product is, not by which words it uses. They apply to sponsors and affiliates alike.
Updated Oct 27, 2026
We don't accept
- Prescription drugs, including branded GLP-1 medications.
- Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide.
- Telehealth services, weight-loss clinics and med spas, including free-consultation offers.
- Peptides and research chemicals.
- Pills, capsules, gummies, patches, probiotics or drinks sold as raising, boosting, mimicking or replacing GLP-1 or the medications.
- Products sold on a claim that they curb appetite.
- Before-and-after photos and weight numbers.
- Weight-loss guarantees.
We accept
- Foods and drinks with a Nutrition Facts panel, and the restaurants and grocers that sell them.
- Meal lines whose claims are about nutrients and portions: grams of protein or fiber, calories, portion size.
- “GLP-1 friendly” or similar wording only when it's the brand's own claim on its own package or menu, presented as theirs. For meat and poultry, that claim must be one USDA has approved.
Rules for sponsor copy
- No drug names, and nothing that implies a medication.
- No claims about appetite, side effects, doses or weight.
- No testimonials offered as proof that a product works.
- Nutrition numbers must match the brand's published label.
- You must be able to back up every claim, and we approve all copy before it runs.
Data
- No list rental, no dedicated sends to our list, and no co-registration.
- No sponsor pixels, tracking tags or retargeting on our pages or in our email.
- Reporting is in totals only. Sponsor links carry campaign tags, never anything that identifies a reader.
- The sponsor URL and its campaign tags must not name GLP-1, medications or this site.
Labels and independence
- Every placement is marked “Sponsored” at every screen size, and its links carry
rel="sponsored". - Sponsors never pick, rank, edit or remove finds.
- During a campaign, the sponsor's own items in our listings are marked as from a current sponsor.
Affiliate links
We don't use affiliate links today. If we add them, each one is disclosed right next to the link, carries rel="sponsored", and the program must meet every rule on this page. We turn down GLP-1 telehealth affiliate offers.
